Hizir Camping is a holiday resort at the slopes of Kirislik Valley of Ida Mountain (Kaz Dagi). Our campsite is 2 kilometers away from Mehmetalan village and is in walking distance from “Kaz Dagi National Park” border. To swim in the cool waters of Zeytinli creek that runs through our site is one of the pleasurable experiences of our guests, not to mention of laying down on the sofa next the creek to read or just to relax.

We have three alternatives for staying overnight which could be found together with kitchen facilities under the title “staying facilities”. You may prefer only to rest and relax in our camping while you may also choose to have different activities, like taking our prearranged various trekking trips through the national park or joining our yoga practises of which explained in more detail under “activities”.

Depending on where you are there are alternative routes to reach Edremit, the town through which we are reached. Starting from Istanbul you have a coice of taking

A) Long route of driving Istanbul – Gebze – Izmit – Gemlik – Bursa – Balikesir - Edremit

B) Alternative route of driving Istanbul – Tekirdag – Kesan – Gelibolu – Canakkale -Edremit or

C) Yenikapi – Bandirma fast ferry by ordering your ticket from www.ido.com.tr and reaching Bandirma the easy way,then driving Bandirma – Susurluk – Balikesir - Edremit route.

D) ÝSTANBUL – EDREMÝT by plane with ATLAS JET (0216) 444 3 387 www.atlasjet.com

If coming from Izmir you can take shore route of Izmir – Aliaga – Ayvalik – Edremit.

After reaching Edremit you can keep driving towards Akcay until you see “Zeytinli” junction where you enter and after passing Zeytinli you come to Mehmetalan village and see Hizir Camping signs. These signs will lead you to our campsite. Two kilometers of dirt road which demands slow driving.
